I’m planing on installing my airchimes on the truck this week and am trying to choose which way I’m going to mount them. I’ve had the bells mounted under the bed before but with our harsh winters I find they get packed with snow and road salt and the little port holes on the diaphragm caps get clogged with salt and crud.
I’m wondering what would happen if I mounted them inside the box under my tonneau cover? Would they still be as loud or do you think it’s going to muffle and quote them down
