I have found a vendor who will make you any length of Leader Hose. I had one made this morning that is 60" long. It is chaff resistant, oil and chemical resistant, and get this – will hold up to 4,000 psi.

This vendor is a local hardware store about 6 miles from my house. I never knew they made industrial pressure hoses and they have been doing it for decades. Here is their website:

Cool, did you ask about the temperature rating of that hose? The leader hose can get quite hot.

For anybody wanting a longer leader hose, it’s not rocket science. If you know the fitting sizes you can order online. One place quoted me hose + fittings + 2-$10 crimps. If you have a local hydraulic / pneumatic company it’s even easier. Walk in with your hose and tell em you want a longer one. Hahaa

Hose temperature range is -20 to 900 degrees F. I think that will work.
