Leaving system pressurized 24/7

ya it was funny at first but by the time all the air was out i felt pretty dumb. once I got to low pressure the horns started cutting off so the lowest pitch horn lasted forever

that gives me an idea. what about putting a solenoid and a switch that you can use to blow out all the air if your solenoid for the horns get stuck open. would help it run out of air faster.

Mine is teflon taped as well and mine will hold pressure for at least a week. The only time mine lost pressure was when i would blow it in January and the valve would freeze open a little. Now that it’s warm, I can park it and come back a week later, switch the power to the compressors on, and nothing but silence.

Some people put a solenoid on the drain on the bottom of the tank…so they don’t have to manually drain the water out of the tank.
