These are my two horns and a lot have been wondering about size differance between the two. As you can see a Nathan is a lot smaller than the leslie but is just as loud! Then the other picture is a K5la vs. a Leslie rs3l. These however are not my horns. Just some comparison pictures thought you might enjoy!

Get a K3! Its small, but is one of the loudest. Easy to work on. If you have room though, get a K5:D
I would only get a K5 if I already had a K3 and liked the tone of the K5 better. The K3 is a louder horn.

the best horn to have is a k3la,k3haā¦a leslie is huge and louder,but not as loud to justify the soundā¦plus they screw up easier
Yes I agree that the K3ās are way user friendly than the leslies. Leslies though have that classic train sound that is pleasing to the ears:) Itās nice to have the best of both worlds:D By the way King Ranch, Looks like you have a nice collection of horns:D
Have you heard a S-5-T up close and personal? You can tell a difference.
yea my neighbor has a s5tā¦its super loud and has very demanding soundā¦but it weighs like 55lbsā¦and its 2feet wide 3 ft in lenghtā¦its just too bigā¦even after saying thatā¦i want one baddddā¦im getting a CSX/Conrail RS5T next weekā¦

But buying something a lot bigger, not saying to much yet till its actually parked outside!
But I am strangely drawn to the K3ā¦
Tank size? K3 with 5gallon or should I go bigger? 8.5G?
Of course more air is always better. I have two five gallon tanks with my k3 and that does great. Bear in mind that you will need one compressor per five gallon tank. I have two 450Cās with my ten gallons. And k3ās are AWESOME!
k3 ftmfw i have a 7 gallon and 1 k3ha and i love it 
i have one 5 gallon with the k3la and it does just fine.
