I have recently completed a 5gal. 150psi onboard air system on my 1997 Ford EL Falcon GLi station wagon.
I made the mistake of purchasing and installing a “Compact 4 Trumpet Chrome Air Horn.” I know this is not a train horn (because it is chrome and small). I want to replace this pathetic air horn with a real train horn, but cannot afford the prices and shipping costs associated with buying from Hornblasters.com. Although their products are of outstanding quality, I simply cannot afford $1,500+ AUD.
I am wondering if anybody has upgraded their horn and has a Nathan K3LA or similar horn, in working order, that they would be willing to part with. Please leave a reply if you have a horn that you are willing to sell and we can discuss prices over private message.
I will be residing in Adelaide, South Australia, as of the 15th of February, this year. I am willing to travel to collect the horn, if the price is right.
Please help a mate out. I am starting full time uni on the 25th of Feb and would love to have the horn sorted out before that date, so as to avoid conflicts with classes.
