Hi everyone I currently have the outlaw 3000 setup that hornblasters sells. I’m thinking of upgrading to the shockers. I was curious how much louder they will be and if I could still use my same compressor and tank 2.0 Gallon Air Tank Viair 280C Air Compressor. Will this current compressor and tank have enough pressure and air to make the horns sound right?
Or should I just buy the shocker kit? Any and all info appreciated thanks!
I cant give an exact answer on loudness, but I run the Shockers with a 5gl tank and it will drop from 150psi to 100 in less than 2 sec of blast time…a 2 gallon tank will give you even less…
yeah i would def get a bigger tank. probably a bigger compressor too…
But the shocker classic comes with this tank and compressor in it’s kit? Doesn’t it?
Nothing wrong with trying it out. You can always upgrade when you get tired of the compressor running.
your set up will be fine, it will just be a matter of time before you want more air, 200 psi and bigger airlines/fittings, will work fine though and will be noticebly louder
