Looks like its time for another horn ....

My oldest just turned 15 and recently got his permit, so once he completes his 6 months of “driving experience” he can get his license. With that in mind, I told my wife we should start looking for a nice, entry level truck … something that’s a few years old, not rode hard and put away wet, that will last at least through college, and get good gas mileage (yeah.

We got lucky and I found one:

I found an '04 Dodge Ram 1500 ST, and I practically stole it from the dealer because nobody wants the single cab, it was on the lot for about 2 months, and it was on sale since they couldn’t move it.

Now I’m being begged for a horn, so it looks like Shockers for the kid. Which one is the deeper sounding version?

Man, if I only would have thought of a trainhorn on my ride when I was 15 or 16…
I don’t know which one is deeper.
Nice truck.

Well I need some upgrades for my K5 install and parts for the K3 to get moved to the wife’s truck, so I guess I gotta call Garrett … heheheheheheh.

Exactly! haha

Hey Marine your truck is good. it is simple & quite posh model… i am happy to you continue your work…

That’s good on gas mileage? lol my dad’s dodge ram gets like 18 mpg.

not good but decent lol especially for a truck, i only get 11-13 if i speed and if im a good driver i get 17-18 surprisingly.

The kid’s truck surprisingly gets better than 22 MPG, so my wife has been using it more than her truck or mine. Her’s get around 17 or 18 MPG, and mine gets 15 to 16 MPG.

This sounds like the beginning of a new thread…

nope our train has not derailed yet
