That does suck,but yea go ahead and place your max bid up front!There is a website,I cant remember the name,but my buddy uses it all the time,you take the URL of the ebay auction and place it on this website and enter what you want to pay,then it waits til the last second the auction is about to end and it enters your highest bid,that way the bidders think they have the max bid,and then at the last second you win,it helps keep the price down.I never used it but Ive heard of people using it.That was a steal on both of those horns.I just paid $750 for a canadian K5 :o
I remember there was a K5L on Ebay for buy it now 550 one time. I emailed the seller and he told me he’d take 400 for it, i was so shocked but the next day I wrecked my car and couldnt’t afford it ugh
Yeah u gotta wait til the last minutes or seconds to put a max bid down. Otherwise if someone else has a max bid out there it just jumps you both all the way up until you both max out prematurely. I believe the technical term is premature maxbidation.
You have been sniped. They have software that will bid and then it will fake other bidders out sayin the auction has ended.
There are also websites that will automatically snipe your ebay item… It’s pretty convenient.
