Manual Valve

Actual length is 34 ft from valve to horn on locomotive…

where do you come up with this bullshit? what about trains that have a horn on the front and rear? what about trains that have the valve in different positions? what about trains that have the horn mounted in different positions? are they all exactly 34 feet? come on man stop with all the crap

idiot… getting banned the first time doesnt give the hint?

I got the valve in mail today… Very heavy / sturdy! One thing that i am curious about is how little the handle opens , the spring is so tight now… maybe it will be easier once pressure is behind it. I am definately going to have to fabricate something solid to mount this onto. I am psyched to get it up and working! Hopefully this week on my vacation i can redo my whole setup!

Well i took one of my extra tanks i got and did a temp hookup to it with my whistle, and it sounds amazing!

So the whistle is going on my truck also! You’ll have to wait to see the whistle tho…

Now i just gotta get moving and planning everything out and buy fittings galore!

that’s gonna be a sick setup when your done man!

have fun

so is it easier to open with pressure on it???i have one but i dont want to use it since its so damn hard…i want it to be easy/smooth to open

It is a liitle easier to open with pressure… But when i first bough it i was thinking it would be like a ball valve… The handle only opens a little bit , but opend the mechanism on inside and opens air passage all the way. Its really a cool design. So if u want a little sound , u literally only have to open it 1/4" pulling up… and full open is maybe 3/4" . Its unlike any valve ive seen / used.

I still havent had a chance to redo my setup yet. Hopefully soon, but im thinking it wont happen till my July vacation now unfortunately.

yes i know…u get to push down the little pin about 1/2inch…but is it easy to pull with pressure…cause mine is super stiff

It is a little easier with pressure… If you are trying to hold it in your hand trying to open it at same time it is going to be real tuff. You have to mount it or attach a nipple or piece of pipe to it and then you will have leverage and it will be easier…
