I’m loving my newly installed Shockers. I don’t want to love them too much at the wrong times though if the law here is too strict. I tried searching google a little bit for it, but with no luck. I’m sure it has come up before, but didn’t see it in the forum search.
If anyone is able to locate the laws regarding the train horns here in MD, please let me know.
Don’t know where to find the laws about that. But I had my horns on top of my toolbox here in Oregon and a cop here was passing me and looked at my horns then waved to me.
I think if i was blowing them and he heard them it would be another story though.
I believe almost every state has a sound ordinance. I wouldn’t just go honking around cops for fun lol
I know I can get a noise violation, but I’ve heard of some laws with several thousands in fines for something like this. Then again my friend got a $100 ticket for a sound violation for his system. I just need to know how much to set aside, lol.
