Does anybody know anything about the maximus train horns? any vids or reviews?
I was looking into those as well because they’re cheaper and it’s free shipping but then I started researching and the smartest thing to do is not buy one of those but instead buy a hornblasters shocker 228vx, it’s only a little bit more than they’re most expensive max 4. It’s poorly made and the sound doesn’t compare to the shocker. I found out about it by searching “maximus train horns” on this forum and you’ll see how terrible the reviews are. There’s a reason they’re the cheapest horns. So I’d advise spending a bit more to go with a better quality horn, good luck!
My first set of horns was the maximus and they are junk in my opinion. The solenoid broke after about 3months. Also they are not loud at all I bought shockers after about a month of having maximus horns. And was not impressed with the kit they sent it included a PVC air tank (NOT SAFE) and a cheap harbor freight compressor that broke in about a month and a half. So i do not recommend anyone to buy maximus train horns, they are not the real deal. Shockers are way better but if you want real train horns then go with a NATHAN AIRCHIME
