maybe new compressor??

i bought the compressor from work and i really cant find any info online about it last time i looked. maybe someone on here knows what it is??

but i know its a 175psi and its been working for close to 2 years. my tank is only at about 130psi right now and its starting to run funny…

pretend normal running sound is “VVVRRRROOOOOOOOMMMM”
well it runs normal for maybe 20 seconds then it will start going “VVrrrrRRRrrRRrrOOOoooOOOM” like studdering

my +/- are good, played with the wires a little bit but i think im going to try hooking it up a little different and see what happends.

What brand of compressor do you have? If it’s a 12V type, it sounds like it might need motor brushes, the motor armature has a heat problem, the solenoid isn’t making a good contact, or voltage is fluctuating.

If it’s gas powered, give it an oil change and tune up.

If it’s a 120Vac type, check the pump’s oil level, belt & pully.
