Mechanic Scared Outta His Pants !

Ok, Just got my set-up installed yesterday. On the way home ,I was like a crackhead looking for the next hit from his pipe. Unfortunately no victims to be found. So got home and my mechanic hits me up asking about some parts I was supposed to give him. (Ahaaaaa my first victim) So I grabbed the parts and shot over to his shop. As I pull up into his driveway and inside his shop, I see his sister and another customer"INSIDE" the shop! So I yell out to him to stand in front of my truck and listen for a strange noise. Mind u I had the 5 horns installed right behind the grill. When I laid into them horns, my mechanic jumped nearly 3ft in the air,not to mention his sis & the customer ran towards the back of the shop  The look on their faces: PRICELESS !
My mechanic, now cursing me to hell was turning stoplight red. Never seen him studder, but today was a first. All in all, I think im gonna have alot more to share(woohoooooo)…

I don’t know if that’s too cool a move. Your repairs will undoubtedly become more expensive in the near future.

Here’s what I did:

I needed to get the Tundra smog certified for registration, so I went to a local shop who quoted me a really good price. Talking to the owner who was doing the smog, he asked what the button on the dash was for. I told him it was for my train horns, and that as long as the engine was running - he could honk them if he liked. Guess he couldn’t stand the temptation, because he leaned right on into the truck and reached up for the button. -That’s when his feet left the ground. I think he nearly shat himself. Of course he couldn’t be mad about it, since he was the one to hit the button. He did laugh hysterically for a bit afterward though…

FYI - the truck smogged cleaner than I would have thought. -Even cleaner than the shop owner thought it could…

lol Good one.

I hear ya , but the mechanic is one of my good friends. Also afterwards we all had a good laugh.

Good move. You should have filmed it! I did the same thing at a tire shop but the attendant was the one pulling it into the bay and he hit the horn twice like they always do to alert the others that they are pulling in. Well he alerted them alright!

Yep im gonna have to start carrying a camcorder around seems like. dont wanna missout on those special moments, lol
