My 2010 3500HD Silverado

I’m happy to say that my installation is about 75% complete. When its finally complete I will post better pictures and possibly a video. The first picture is my air system. It consists of 2 Viair 480c compressors, 2 five gallon 200 psi tanks, 2 3/4" speedaire adjustable regulators with gauges, 1 1/2" speedaire adjustable regulator with gauge, 3 1/2" electrical solenoids (one to fire my K5LA, one for the 2 Grover 1510’s, and one for a air dump. The 1/2" regulator is to supply adjustable air pressure to a air tool supply line so I can air toys, tires, etc. The second picture is my K5LA under the bed and the third are my Grover 1510’s in the grill. Can’t wait till its done!

Awesome setup! Very clean work! Love those grovers!

Very nice installation. The planning that went into the air setup is very obvious. I love it when everything is symmetrical.

That sure is one very neat install. All good gear… well done.

Nicely done!

Hey tierboss, you mentioned in another thread that you get a full 30 second blast from your K5…

So I assume your 10 gallons is @ 200 psi.

What pressure are you regulating the horns to?

Yes, my tanks fill to 200 psi, and then I have them regulated down to 100 psi at the moment. My town is so small I have to drive up into the hills before I can play with the horns. When I left the shop the installer had the regulator at 80 psi. I can’t really tell the difference right now between 80 and 100. Maybe later I’ll be able to fine tune them with the exact psi they should have.
