So I collect guns as well as lomocotive horns and was looking at getting a Bushmaster Carbon 15. I figured that I would rather have a gun that was cheaper and save some money on it as well as ammo (since ammo is outrageously priced right now). I ended up getting the new Smith and Wesson M&P15-22. It’s a very fun gun to shoot and will hold any accessories that a standard AR will take. Great gun, no jams or misfires, and lots of fun to shoot.
looks good. I have a couple buddies that collect guns. I cant pick up that hobby. Im spending too much $ as it is lol.
How’s it shoot? I was thinking about picking one up for my boys (turning 14 and 10 soon) and they love shooting my AR-15 but I’m going to turn it into a distance shooter and I’ll need a plinker to replace it for them.

It’s a great gun and you can’t beat the price. I paid just over $400 for it (I think the MSRP is still $499) so be sure to shop around.
As far as how it shoots, I haven’t had any problems with it. I’ve shot over 1000 rounds through it since I got it and no problems, not one jam ever. Another good thing about it is it breaks down just like a standard AR. Two pins separate the upper and lower. The bolt release is functional on this gun as well (it isn’t on the Colt model which is made my Umarex). Hope this helps ya out!
Rifles & horns, somebody likes it loud. How’s your hearing…lol?
I got a .50 beowulf for sale on g.b. It will add nicely as well.
