My Train horn build, Nathan K5's

I used the horn out of the hb kit and put a fuse off the battery to the button, then straight back to the valve. So it always has power. I used a toggle switch from a local shop that kills the ignition power so if I dot want the compressors to recharge or the pressure switch failed I can cut the compressors off in cab.

so you have the high side of the current going straight to the switch then the valve? lol

Power to the compressors go to the relays, that is controlled by the ignition wire. So if the truck ain’t on, the compressors will not come on. I have a line from the battery to the button, then from the button to the valve. It is always hot

ah ok…so you can honk with the truck off…just the compressors wont turn on…gotcha…what size wire did you use?

My buddy ground with the install used 8 ga I think. He contacted hb and they talked and that’s what he used I think.

Looks good - I like it. Not that it looked bad before - AT ALL. lol

I hated all/ any chrome, so I am much happier now, and it’s a attention getter too! Lol
