Nice n suttle, huh? LOL
Ya, didn’t want to use the ENTIRE window. Haha.
Had my first scare today. Was following a car and approaching some RR tracks, well bout the time his front tire hit the tracks I hit the horn. He gunned the car across the tracks and was looking frantically from side to side! Great pay off.

I’ve done that, too … and I have video of it.
And I’m not quite sure I should post that.

Did I miss video?
Not yet … I haven’t posted it.
I crossed a set of tracks, nailed my horns, and made traffic stop. Those that didn’t stop were looking hard for the train that wasn’t there.
Here are some videos
Just a honk at 200psi in the tank and horns regulated down to 150psi.

Video of how fast the K5HL consumes a 8.5 gal tank.

We were at the state park boat ramp and I honk 3 times, then you can hear the Eco afew seconds later. Much louder when in person.

nice vids man!!
i liked the one with the gauge…haha good one!
the one with the gauge really shows a lot…was that with a 200 pressure switch and 150 regulator?
Thats why I wanted to make the video. I am running a 200 psi switch ( stops between 200 and 204) and there is a regulator first thing off the tank, then the valve, then the line to the horns. so its 200psi in the tank and 150 going to the horns. That way I am sending 150 psi the first few honks till I drop below that, keeps a more constant tone.
thats EXACTLY what i wanna do
I was going to use ptc fittings from one to another but ended up using a double threaded pipe from tank to regulator and from regulator to the valve, then a 90 off that to a ptc then to the horns.

[b]Just got home from a friends house that lives at the end of St Paul, about 3.5 miles drive away from my house. I had them stand outside and I hit my horns here at the house, about 3 seconds later I could hear the horns on there end of the phone. Well worth it!
I also put new tires on my truck and a leveling kit!
Also, while we had it up on the lift I got a good pic of the horns!

That is awesome…I can’t wait to get mine installed…how’d you hook all you switches and what not?

All of the wiring is grounded to the plate and then there is a 12" 8ga going from there to a screw in the frame. All my other wiring is together with a wire nut and electrical tape. that way I can remove the horns if needed to service or whatever reason I need them removed.
no, i was talking about the switches in the cab…lol
