need advice

I have a f350 crew cab long bed 10" lift and want some train hons. My question is I have the ride rite dual air camand leveling kit with an onboard compressor on there right now. Is it possible to put a bigger tank in and use my compressor for the horns and the leveling kit or do I have to get another compressor?

every 5 gallons you’ll want to add one. HOW big tank you got now and how big you wanna go?

it is just a 1 gallon tank. but im hopeing that if i get a 5 gallon that i can use it for horns and my leveling kit

^ I am going to guess that the compressor you have will not be suitable for a 5 gallon tank. If you over work that compressor, it will burn up.

WHAt compressor you have right now I would recommend a via air 400c or a 444c with a 5 gallon tank depending on your budget.

I would like to stay under $500 for a complete kit. Is there a kit you would recommend? I think I’ll just leave the leveling kit as is and add a train horn kit

for 500 you’ll be better off saving up a few extra dollars for.the conductors special 540 that’s my 2 cents

I just did this upgrade myself to my '08 Dodge 3500 QCLB, gutting most of the Firestone kit and adding AirLift’s Wireless AIR controller and manifold.

If you want to stay around $500 then get the Conductor’s Special and tie it into your airbag controller. You’ll need to delete the current tank and compressor and make sure the valve from your tank to your airbag controller will act like a check valve. If it doesn’t, you’ll need to figure out a way to fix that or else your bags will overinflate and go boom.

I mounted my compressor to the passenger side frame rail and the tank under the bed on the outside of the frame. I’ll be posting pics and a write up shortly.
