I’m trying to figure out how to wire the solenoid valve can anyone give me a detailed description of how to do this
Welcome to the forum. An air solenoid is just an electromagnetic coil so to open (i.e energize the coil) it just needs 12v positive on one wire and a path to ground (I.e. Negative) on the other wire. You can splice into your original horn wiring or run a whole new circuit - entirely up to you.
There are several threads here with regards to wiring so be sure to use the forum search for reference. For example (check out post #6)

If you have specific wiring issues feel free to ask. Happy to help out.
Yea I did exactly as you said and made a whole new circuit one going to positive and one negative and nothing happens when I touch both. Could it be the solenoid valve? I’m completely stumped. I’ll be messing with it more tomorrow.
Yea I wired my own circuit and when I tested it, nothing happened. I will be messing with it more tomorrow. I’m completely stumped. Could it be a bad solenoid valve?
Could be a bad valve or a break in the wire, or incorrect wiring. Take the valve and run the two wires straight to the terminals of a 12v battery. It’s a quick and easy test to ensure the valve is OK.
Welcome to the forum. I think you’ll know the answer if it doesn’t work directly to a battery.
