Need help with custom train horn install

Hey everyone, Im looking at making my own kit with a marine horn that I got for free. Im not sure of the brand/make/model of the horn but it works pretty well when I put an air chuck to it. So heres the parts I have and I need to know a few basic answers please!

To start, I was only planning on running an OBA setup and planned on getting a train horn system at a later date, but since I got this for free, I want to make this setup work. (Nothing is installed yet, haven’t had time) My truck is an 04 Toyota 4Runner and the compressor will be in the engine compartment and the Viair 2.5 gallon tank will be in the front bumper. Also is there an easier kit to hook all of this up instead of piecing it all together?

Compressor-Q Industries MV50 SuperFlow High-Volume 12-Volt Air Compressor-(120 PSI compressor)

Tank-Viair 2.5 gallon tank 150 psi (Will be mounted like this)

Im going to have the pressure gauge hidden in the glovebox like this :

Pressure gauge and relay:
Viair 90111 Pressure Switch with Relay

What I need to know is what size electric valve do I need to install on the horn, what size tubing would be best? Im thinking 3/8 for my application. Where is the best place to buy the air line and all of the compression fittings and should I go with plastic or rubber air line?

Truck these are going on:

Thank you all in advance for your help and sorry for the first long oven post! I just wanted to be thorough!

Mike

Welcome to the forum Mike. I have a security certificatre issue here and can’t see the pics. I can help with Oasis compressors and a little bit with other compressors but not much else.

Nicely done. The 3/8 should be fine from the tank and through a solenoid but you could then even go to 5/16. Those horns won’t suck too much air.

Keep and eye on your compressor inside the engine bay to make sure things don’t get too hot in there. The comps run hot as it is … if you add engine bay heat to the mix they don’t tend to last as long, plus your thermal overload is likely to trip sooner.

ok great thanks! Wheres the best place to purchase individual parts? like the solenoids, airlines, compression fittings, etc
