need help with wiring Dorman horn button

Just got the 540 kit mostly installed but having a problem blowing a fuse for my Dorman push button switch I got a 12 volt power source going to it also connected with the wire from the selonoid valve and then other side is grounded and other wire at selonoid valve is grounded also. Do I not need to ground the push button cause the valve is grounded at the frame??? Thanks
Here’s a picture of the back of the switch

I’m not sure where you’re blowing a fuse. The air solenoid for honking the horn is just a coil (it needs 12V and ground, that’s all - no fuse). So the wiring path should be:
12v -> Switch -> Solenoid -> ground.
Simple as that :slight_smile:

Does the fuse blow only when you push the switch?
Don’t ground the switch? As DeeBeeOhh said, you should have 12v to switch, out of switch to solenoid & then ground the solenoid?
Does not matter which wire you ground on the solenoid?

Easy easy lemon squeezy!

Yea that was the problem I had the other side of the switch grounded and had the selonoid and 12v on the other twisted together had to put the selonoid on side and 12v the other side but god damn the 540 is loud
