Need more air

I was thinking about getting a second 480c compressor, but I have all my other ports used. I would have to put a T or a Y adaptor in. Has anybody done this? what is the best method? i have a 5 gallon tank.

Here is some discussion:

I read that thread but i might put a T on the end of the tank with the gauge and blow off valve. Then I will have a extra port. Any better ideals?

What all do you have connected currently?

One no-no is to connect a compressor and pressure regulator to the same port

Yeah just don’t share a tee with the pressure switch or another compressor.

I think the running theme in that other thread is that it technically reduces flow, but may not be noticable. …and that’s if they’re sharing the same tee.

i meant that the pressure gauge and blowoff valve would share the T.
I have a air coupling, pressure gauge, compressor, blowoff valve, solinoid valve pressure switch and one I can not be used because of where its located

Heck, if need be, you can put a couple T’s inline for the items that don’t consume air. Or use a ‘cross’. Like the pressure gauge, pressure switch, and pressure relief valve could all share 1 port.
How many usable ports do you have? Hopefully one is at the bottom for a drain.

You could put a T pretty well anywhere and it will be just fine. I would put use a T to connect the 2 compressors if it were me. They don’t flow that much to worry about the T obstructing the flow.

Replace everything with an XD3000 and have all the air you need…LOL

lol i wish i had the extra money to upgrade my truck and then buy the compressor.
