Need opinions from train horn experts.

HEY. I’m currently looking around to buy a kit for my 1994 Nissan pulsar. I don’t have a big budget as I’m only 17 and on my P plates

What do you guys think of these kits? as in, how loud and long do you guys think they would last me? How long can they honk for? I’m not going by the sellers description, I’d rather one of you guys tell me by the spec’s.

Thanks.

The tank looks fine, the compressor might last a year, and the horns are just regular semi-truck horns.

With you being an Aussie there are customs fees you’re trying to avoid (understandable) and we have a few folks on from “down under”, so you might want to hit them up in that part of the forums for some help.

If I were you, I’d avoid these three and look for better parts at truckstops and specialty stores for the horns, and automotive supply stores for the compressor and tank.

Note the compressor is only 15% duty cycle.
And when the say 150db I LMAO. Maybe with the microphone shoved in the horn.

If that’s what you have to do because of space constraints and/or budget that’s ok, but people come on here all the time regretting this type of purchase.

Welcome to the forum.

150db if you have an Airchime next to it. Cause you cant even get 150db even if the microphone was shoved up the horn.

Welcome. You might want to look around your area first but Hornblasters might be able to help.

Alright, thanks guys.
Believe me, I would buy a Shocker straight up if I could, its just postage is $200 itself.

Thanks for your help.

HornBlasters.com

Kleinn air hors suck- if you didnt notice they sell the same crap under the name Mypushcart.com thier horns are manufactured in Chimna by the least competent vendor. Most everything they recieve they need to “fix” before they send out, you would save yourself a lot of hassle by shopping elsewhere.

Agreed! save up for the $200 extra, you wont regret it I promise! I have the same problem, I’m in the UK trying to promote HORNBLASTERS.com in any way I can and its the Shipping costs which is the killer and bumps the price to silly levels when I’m trying to sell these kits.:frowning:

^ that or just go all out the first time with an airchime. that way you wont ever want to upgrade lol.
