Need Opinions on Compressor Install

Ok, So I scored a Brand New Oasis XD2000 cheap
and it’s like new condition and never been hooked
up. I don’t know if it’s a 24V model or a 12V, but
I also know it can’t be rocket science to make it
usable. I have heard using battery’s in “Splitting”
methods, also heard of 24V Alternators, and I’m
sure there’s an Inverter or Converter also, but I
want your opinions on which way to go with it?

*I’m not using this for Air Ride, just my K5’s

I haven’t found any 12V to 24V DC to DC converters that will output 90 amps (2160 watts).

Using switches requires the batteries to be in parallel while driving to charge them and the compressor to be isolated or prevented from running. Then the batteries need to be switched to series and isolated from the vehicle while running the compressor.

The simplest method is adding a 24V alternator to charge a 24V battery or 2 12V batteries in series. This system would be just for the compressor and needs to be isolated from the rest of the vehicle.

Would it be worth it to just replace the motor instead with a 12v version?
Dan could he do that?

He can do that for $600 + shipping

Might do that, or I may just dump her on Evil Bay.

Looks like it could be a 12V (Need 2 test it)

Dan I sent you a PM about Model #

Thanks Guys

PM back at ya.

Thanks,
