Needing help or suggestions for road wear and tear on horns

I will be mounting my Katrina 5 train horns from hornblasters under my truck facing the rear just because I don’t think it’s safe facing them forward. Does anyone know what I can do to cover the tips of each trumpet? I just want to keep from anything as big as a pebble and possibly bigger from getting into them. Is there a website I can go to or what kind of material do i need to buy and what do I need to do? Any help or ideas would be great! Thanks!

I’ve tried getting some real thin aluminum window mesh but I’m not sure how to keep it on.

Search google images for nathan airchime snow cones.
You can see a few different styles.

I wish i could buy some instead of making them haha. And i found some bonnet covers that may work. Know if their any reliable?

You could always angle the bells downward in addition to facing them rearward. Since debris is moving past them as you drive, the likelihood of things bouncing up and into the bells would be pretty darn slim. This also allows for water to drain efficiently – which is why most people tend to angle downward, anyway.

Well the size of these damn horns make it only possible to mount under my truck one way sadly. I know im gunna fabricate a brush guard thing for the front of it but i need some kind of cones to go over each trumpet.
