New from Washington State

Hello…I just discovered a trio of Doran Cunningham Horns at an old homestead I was cleaning up. They weigh approx 115-125lbs, and are clearly marked 5A, 4A, 3A, with serial #s. Also stamped on them us the #743, property of USN. I have called the Cunningham Co here and they stated that according to their records, these horns were commissioned by an Arthur Davies who bought items for the US Navy. They also stated that they were cast circa 1940. If anyone could help me with any other information, and approx value I would greatly appreciate it. It would be sad to see them go to the scrap yd.

Hi & welcome to the forum.

I dont know much about these horns but I am sure someone on here will know a thing or two. CERTAINLY dont scrap them, I think you may be sitting on a nice pile of dollars there!
