Hello all. Recently installed the shocker 228 on my '03 X5. It sure was a pain in the butt being that there is no tolerance ANYWHERE to add anything to this vehicle. I had to mount all kind of brackets to make it work under the hood. Not the prettiest of installs but I made it my own and it works.
Dang… that’s a tight install. Nice job - just keep an eye on heat warping anything on you (e.g. The tubing gets soft and can blow out on you)

It sure is tight and yes I have been checking once in a while for heat and haven’t seen/felt any issues so far.
