New guy from Texas

Hello all. Been into trainhorns for over a decade now and got my first kit about 7 years ago. Kit is the Shocker classic from Hornblasters.com. I have since gone through a compressor and tank so i have upgraded those but still using the same trumpets. One day I’d like to get some Nathan’s, but until then.

Hey, welcome to the forum. That’s a fantastic report to hear the durability of the Shocker horns.

Welcome…everyone seems to upgrade after they get hooked

Yes, they have been great. They dont look as pretty as they used to but they still sound lile the first day i bought them. I would definitely recommend this for a beginner set to someone wanting to get started in this hobbie.

I put it off for a couple years because of personal life issues but now i am ready to do some research and built me another system with actual train horns.
