New Guy

I am not new to the train horn community just new to the forum. I have a set of grand general horns and a set of k3s. My friend had a set of k3s and he broke one of the bells on the horns. Is there anyway to build another bar for the horns to be on that only holds 1 or 2 horns and gets air to them? My next? What would be a reasonable price to sell those K3’s for? They are painted flat black and look to be in pretty good shape, I’ve only honked them a few times. Thanks for the help

Hi & welcome to the forum matey.

I think the K3’s are worth about £20 (english) and you should post them to me for free in the UK… Only joking…lol

You gotta ask these guys on here for prices, I aint gotta clue. Their a sleepy old lot on here and prob wont be up for a while…lol lol

Why doesn’t he just buy a replacement bell for the one that broke? He could get a piece of metal and drill holes in it for the air inlet port and for the bolt holes and weld a nut underneath where the air would go in. This way he can screw in some sort of air fitting… I would just buy a replacement though.

I just want to run one of the 3 horns. I know it sounds wierd but I blew then one at a time and just one is loud enough and I don’t have room for them or a tank that big. Another factor is i’m in college and money is always a little tight. So i’m going to keep this set w/o the bar and sell my 2 other sets.
