Hello I am new to the train horn community. But I have lots of friends that have them. So I decided it was time. I have the opportunity to get some Nathan’s K3LA’s for a really good price. Is that worth it or what? Thanks.
For a k3la that is a gooooooooooooooooooooodddddddddddddd deal just get it and Welcome to the forums btw
Yeah, I’d say that’s a steal… and welcome to the forums
Thanks guys. Great to be here. Some of ya’ll have great setups. I hope mine will sound as good as yours.
welcome !!!
Welcome
hello,
what price? you edited out the amount… why
I didn’t edit but I am sure the mods did it for a reason. But thanks for the welcomes.
welcome where in tx are you?
Conroe just north of Houston.
im up here in dallas i was in houston last weekend hitting the horns lol
Well I just got my horns. They have been used and abused but still look good. The onwer before used a grinder and stripped off all the numbers on the horns… don’t know why. I am going to clean them up really good and probably do a flat black on them.
Next to a 14oz bottle.
Back caps.
With my hand for size reference.
awesome gotta love the nathan
i really love my p5’s…just got through adding an extra 10 gal of air, so now i have a 15 total gallons of air to play with
Time to get a couple more compressors for the extra storage or you could over work your 480C, Viair warranty = 5 gallons per compressor.
The alternative is get an Oasis compressor that doesn’t have a tank size limit and will fill 15 gallons to 150 PSI in about 2.5 minutes
yeah i am looking for another 480c to go with mine…my next truck i will prolly go another route with the compressors…might do something like what is on a Big rig
Well I just ordered the rest of the stuff I need for the install. Should be here late this week.
ummm dood you gotta leard to fully read the posts. and it dosent MEAN its stolen. Maybe the guy wanted to do a clean smooth paint job on it and didnt care to have the numbers on the back caps.
