What type of compressor do you have? As for fittings you will need 1/2" fittings along with 1/2" air line either DOT tubing or push lok hose. Depending on which fittings you buy. Also you will need a 1/2" solenoid or manual valve. I have a brand new GW clone for sale if interested. Also a drain cock for moisture removal, safety pop off, and a pressure switch to shut off compressors, and either one or two relays depending on number of compressors.
Sweet yea ill keep all that in mind i had a united pacific horns it was kind of a generic horn just made out of stainless steel and bought a viair kit but wasnt gna fit on my present vehicle so i sold.it and i bought a k3ha and have a 5 gal tank and not sure what kind of compressor it came out of an airbag kit for a 3500 duramax (leveling bags for the back)
Umm im not sure the tank and compresser are brand new off of an airbag leveling kit from a 3500 silverado duramax! And i had a viair set up and an off brand horn but it wouldnt fit on my vehicle at the time so i sold it and now im doing it again but bigger lol
Does the compressor have any labels showing max amp draw? Max psi?
Welcome to the forum. If it came from a Firestone air suspension then it’s most likely a Thomas compressor, Thomas compressors are built by Gardner Denver. Does it look like any of the ones on this website? - http://www.gd-thomas.com/article.aspx?id=8780
Yea ill look asap its at my dads house cuz he bought a kit and they sent him more parts for free lol idk y! He sent them a msg saying they were missing a part and they sent them half a kit for no cost
Chances are its a firestone air comp, which is about 100PSI max, and slow as hell.
