had a post about my new leslie.but i guess admins get offended or idk why my post got deleted…
they finally get some pictures of a REAL HORN and they delete it. Repost those pics man!
Same happened to me too awhile back… pretty stupid… except mine got moved to My Rides or whatever… didn’t even make sense to put it there.
Here are the pics again… some comparison to a K5LA and a RS3L
Ahhh Yes. So are you going to restore them, or leave them the way they are? I would love to hear them. Will you post a video here or on h&w?
omg look at that Leslie RS-5T behind the k5la lol the k5 is a baby beside to that thing lol
That horn looks great. Very similar to mine lol (both ex-CSXT huh). I’m leaving mine as-is, no restoring here lol. The guy I got it from through Tom cleaned it very well inside and out before he shipped it out to me. If you do strip yours down, let me know if there’s any grey underneath there. It could be EX-SCL.
i wanna hear this bad boy too…problem is They forgot to send me the bolts that hold the horn together.u know those 2 3/4 bolts…and about restoring…i think ima start with the tag first.i wanna learn how to make it look original.then make sound good…finally make it a beauty…ill be sure to drain a tank or 2 recording the sound…the po pos came to my house yesterday cause of the rs3l…they said it was fine as long as im not driving my truck…hondaguy ill make sure and tell u whats underneath
You could use the bolts from your RS-3-L as reference and go buy some new ones from a local bolt shop. Then you’d have new shiny bolts to go with your restoration.
I already posted on the other forum about restoring the tag, but if you need any help or pointers just message me, I’ll help ya out!
