Thanks for the info on location of HornBlasters. My son is heading over there tomorrow to check on a 5 gal tank. We also picked up a good deal on a Hornblaster 110-150psi switch w/relay on ebay for $10. Slowly getting all parts for a weekend install - can’t wait.
Quick question on the switch - I see four wires hanging off it. Does that only fit certain compressors? or can we use it on our cheap-o one?
May need to wait and get it in my hands to figure it out.
The pressure switch will work - only 1 of the 4 wires goes to the compressor.
Hopefully the compressor rated to 150?
Most likely the horns are made by Wolo or Klein. But also Grover made them too. Wolo ahd Hadley both made compressor s like that. Hope that helps.
Enjoy,
John
Hey, we spent Wed and Thur installing everything. A good father/son project. Best part was when we wired the compressor and I told him to hit the switch in the cab… and the compresor started running.
We both were happy - horns work good.
We will get some pictures up - thanks all for help.
Congrats on the install. My dad and I worked on it as well. Best is honking when the other person isnt expecting it haha
nice man!! wish i did more stuff like that with my dad… but one day i hope to do it with my son tho
I don’t think my parents would have let me have a loud azz horn… haha
Glad it’s coming along. Looking forward to some pics.
Been meaning to get pictures up. Here is he inside switches and HornBlaster air gauge. The placement of the gauge in the dash looks like it was made for it. We are happy with this clean install.
We will get more pictures of the horns and tank setup later.
Trying to post up some photos of setup inside the truck. The switches and HornBlaster air gauage came out clean. We will get some other photos up of the tank and horns later.
Thanks

that gauge fit in their beautifully. install lookin good.
Nice one & congrats on ya first set of horns! I started my honking days with a set just like yours. Next start thinking about shockers!!!
I love that HB pressure gauge and how you located it.
Post up a vid of these in action.
Dang these Ford dashes are made for an air gauge - looks real good!
That gauge looks good in the dash. Wish there was a way i could add an air gauge without adding another gauge pod in my cab.
Here is my air guage.
Here is a video of how quick k5s eat 200 psi in a 8.5 gal tank, regulated down to 150 going to the horns.
