Don’t “Rice it up” and you won’t get flamed… by me anyway.
When I say “Rice it up” I mean don’t go adding stickers for stuff you don’t have, hell I wouldn’t add stickers at all… let it remain a sleeper. It looks great… I would have loved to pull up next to it when I had my previous car, now I wouldn’t touch it… I can’t move 8500+ pounds of vehicle like I used to be able to move.
Welcome to the forums. If you have any questions, let us know.
Yes, every year, the first week in November. The convention center is huge and it seems like you’ve walked 10 miles by the time your finished. To see all of it really takes about 2 days.
I think they have a smaller show in Indianapolis every year but I don’t know when.
if i was going to “rice” it up, i think i wouldnt have dropped 3500 on a s/c. if i was it would be for a huge wing, stickers, underglow, lame body kit, etc.
The term “ricer” gets thrown around too much nowadays. Just because someone puts aftermarket parts on a honda or jap car in general, some refer to them as ricers. When in fact they are more tuners or going for the JDM look. I dont see why people call everyone ricers, its retarded and diminishes the name to the whole car culture. The Si handles extremely well in the twisties for what it is. There is no way this civic is rice. It has respectable mods and does the civic name well.
imo superchargers are better for a track based setup. Where turbos will add more power, They also deal with turbo lag, and have more temperature problems than superchargers or ITBs (individual throttle bodies). You will also have a more consistent power ban, rather than just boosting at a certain rpm range. Superchargers also tend to be more reliable than turbos as well as deal with less tuning, depending on the application.
