Newb from PA

Hello everyone! Newbie here from PA. Had train horns on my old truck (03’ Dodge Dakota) but they were just a cheap-o ebay setup. From there I upgraded to a viair 444c because my ebay compressor crapped out. Right now I sit with a 3-gallon tank and the compressor but no horns for my new truck (11’ Nissan Titan).

I’m looking into the shocker 240 kits or the original HB4H kits so if anyone’s got used for sale, that’d be awesome!

Anyways, looking forward to being active in the forum and meeting people.

Haha you’ve been bit by the bug. Gotta keep upgrading.
Whether you end up with new or used - try to get the 1/2" airline and valve.
Shocker XL kit would be great - http://www.hornblasters.com/products/details.php?i=shocker-4-train-horn

Welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the forums.

And yes I myself recommend upgrading to the 1/2" XL kit if you ho with either a new or used shocker kit.

But also you may even want to look into a K3 and if funds are an issue then maybe wait and save a little because you wont be let down by K3s 

Thanks guys.

Ear2Ear, you think 3 gallons is enough to run shockers at 200psi with a 1/2" line? I guess I would eventually want to upgrade to a 5 gallon tank as well down the road.

Unfortunately both funds and time are an issue. The vol. fire department I run with every year does a haunted hayride for a fundraiser. Well, you’d never guess what I do to help. Park my truck in the woods and honk away as the wagon goes by. Since I sold my eBay special horns I need to get something on there before October without spending a lot of money.

Anyways, thanks again for the welcomes.

Welcome. Does your name come from being a fire fighter? If so, thank you so much for your service!!!
