Hey fellas, I’m new to the forum and to train horns in general. Just wanted to check in an ask a question.
So I just installed the Hornblasters shockers on a Viair 400 with 5 gallons and I want to know what i will need if I want to eventually upgrade to a set of Nathan K3’s or K5’s. Just the horns or a new valve or what? Thanks in advance for your help!!! BTW, great forum!!
Welcome to the forum. I merged your threads & posts.
You are correct - all you really need is another valve and the horns. Or just reuse the shocker valve if you’re not going to keep the shockers (as long as it’s a 1/2" valve).
5 gallons is ok for a k3, but you’ll want more for a k5, which would probably mean another compressor.
Ok cool Thanks!! So I could just tee off the air to the shockers and install a valve and the nathan? Doesn’t sound too bad except for maybe needing more air. Does Hornblasters sell separate parts or do I need to look elswhere? I would rather keep both
Hornblaster has everything you need, just give em a call.
Welcome to the forums, btw.
Thanks for the replies. Great forum
Welcome!
Thanks! I will get some pics of the install uploaded as soon as I get a chance
