I finished up the install late last night. The UPS man didn’t run until after 9pm. I wanted to sick the dog on the UPS guy!! There don’t seem to be any leaks. The tank has been holding at 150 psi all night and all day. I made a couple girls at work lay a streak in their underwear today too.
The air system
I added a quick connect
I bought an air hose and air chuck
The drain is on the bottom now
Viair 400C
1/4" air line recommended by the air horn manufacturer
Gromets to prevent electric and air lines from chafing
The horns mounted to a metal plate. All the bolts are coated with a healthy dose of red loc-tight so they don’t rattle loose. This is mounted where the spare tire would be.
Here’s the video. You’ll hear a Whelen 100 watt electronic air horn first, the Grover 1510 Stuttertone horns second, and the Fiamm Boss Hoss air horns. THe video doesn’t do the stuttertone horns justice. They are LOUD!
Ok please explain how you gather that from the video. I didn’t think these horns aren’t exactly meant to be harmonic, but if you can make a suggestion to improve the sound I’m all ears.
