Hey guys I just joined and am currently looking to add some train horns to my 07 Toyota Tundra. Cant wait to get info on a good system and get some pics up.
Welcome. Where in Texas are u from?
Welcome. HB has many good systems. The more you’re willing to spend the better the system will be.
welcome to the forums… and yea what dan said…
Welcome to the forums! go with some shockers!!! they are loud, easy to install, and not that expensive! www.hornblasters.com
Welcome to the forums. Stick with what Dan said. More money, more screaming people.
Welcome aboard Tundra. I spent 8 1/2 months in Ft. Hood Texas durring Desert Shield/ Desert Storm. Love it. Beautiful country.
I spent a year at Lackland AFB, in San Antonio.
I agree with this except for the fact that you will want to upgrade your system again later on… I started with a basic system, and now I have a system that I custom built. The basic system was about $450ish and this one that I have now (without purchasing the shockers) is roughly $1000.
Welcome!
but if you got the cash, go for a nathan airchime
Not to BLAST anyone but for REAL TRAIN HORN SOUND, you definately wanna go Nathan or Leslie. Nathan is bigger than Shockers, smaller than a leslie but Leslie is probably the loudest and most air hungry. Im from Tx. too. I never realized how expensive Train Horn Systems were, I’ve already spent $865 and havent even gotten to the electrical yet. It will be over $1000 before its said and done. And thats with a STEAL on a K3LA.
the sky is the limit when you get into the real train horn set ups. I started with a 450.00 kit off of e-bay and then decided to drop 1000.00 on a Nathan K5la…since then i have changed up alot
oh yeah welcome to the forum
