Not sure which to pick...

So I have had my eye on the Outlaw 228 Black since it is cheaper than the Shocker 228vx.

I really like the shocker but it is a little out of my price range. Which one do you all recommend if you were on a budget?

Also, if anyone has the Outlway 228 or the shocker 228 could you please record the sound and upload it? I am aware that there are sounds on the website but I do not think they are accurate.

Shockers are louder. Go with whichever tone you like - even if you have to save longer.

Personally, I would wait that little bit more, save up a little more cash & save myself for the 228vx, you will get them in the end & wish you had bought them in the first place!:smiley:

Maybe go for the Rocker kit . It’s the smaller two horns from the Shockers (B3 & B4)… Cheaper than the Outlaw and you can buy the extra two horns (B1 & B2) later to make up the full Shocker set.

Does the 228vx kit give a deep tone?

As for the rocker alone, it would give a high tone until I bought the other 2 horns right?

Welcome to the forum. The Shocker horns sound very close to the real thing.
