Obama Health Care Plan...

both my parents worked extremely hard in school, got masters degrees, and reliable jobs where they work 60 or more hrs a week, every week. The have worked very hard to get where they are today. I don’t see why they should have to pay for someones health care who doesn’t even try to get a job. just my .02

My dad retired LCDR in the Navy. I have free health care until I’m 21 if I’m not mistaken. Military FTW!!

I’m a veteran and should have coverage for the rest of my life at a veteran hospital.

You mean you don’t? I know they just build a huge veteran hospital on base in Pensacola where I live.

I think I’m still covered but I was covered under the GI Bill which paid for education when you got out. Now you have to pay into that program and they add to it.

So have they made any changes that I haven’t heard about? I think I’m still eligible for CalVet & Veteran loans but I’m not sure about veteran health care.

With government cutting back everything except their own perks, who knows.

Obama health care plan is really good for all people. It provide many facilities who require most. My friends are living in America and they are telling me that this plan is really beneficial for people.

The fact that you don’t live here makes your opinion invalid. Thank you, come again.

We do need Universal Healthcare in my opinion. It cost me $2,000 For a stupid X-ray when I smashed my finger in the door of my truck. If you think about it, it makes sense that we need better health care here in the US due to Health Insurance Companies Screwing people over!

I agree 100%!!!

This is an idealogy being fed to us on a silver spoon. I don’t want the government “giving” me what I need, I want the government to fix the problems with healthcare. The Founding Fathers should be turning over in their graves with what our country is becoming.

I have friends working with me overseas that talk about going to the Phillippines to get their medical and dental work done, simply because the entire procedure is done for the price of our co-pay … fillings, x-rays, cleaning, etc. for $50. I think the most one friend had to spend for a crown was another $35 on top of the $50 he spent for the other work done. How much would a crown cost in the States? A couple thousand dollars on the low side?

And they have access to the same techniques, the same technology, those doctors in the States have.

“The problem with socialism is that one day, everyone else’s money will run out”

Bumper sticker I saw today haha

Obamacare is not free, they make you buy the health insurance. It may be cheaper but you’ll wait longer to see a Dr., the care won’t be as personal, and any procedure has to be approved or you’re on your own. If it were so great then why are big business, labor unions, and politcal relatives getting waivers?

How is that any better than what’s available today.

The whole thing makes my blood boil.

In America you are guaranteed a CHANCE to succeed - not guaranteed success.
I don’t care what the excuse. Be it social/economic background or whatever…GET YOUR OWN. Leave my money alone.

Also: level of care goes down with this Socialistic approach.

Saw an article on Yahoo saying Madam Piglosi’s district has 20% of the waivers, more than any other senator or district in the States, that have been applied for and approved.

Would our two votes for “Yes” like to change their votes now?

Someone sent me an e-mail from an organization where you could apply for your own waiver which I did whether it’s valid or not because I have VA coverage. Unfortunately I no longer have the e-mail or organization or I’d post here.

I just got it from Grassfire Nation - http://www.grassfire.com/148/petition.asp?Ref_ID=5433

It’s a petition for your own waiver. If you don’t want a bunch of e-mails from them, uncheck these 2 statements at the bottom:
