Hi
I am a newbie and just purchased the 3 set of Omega horns with a 1.5 gal tank and wanted to know if the tank has to be mounted right side up only. I have a friend who told me I couldnt mount the compressor under my Expedition because it cant be upside down because of the oil inside but I checked around and it seems that is an oiless system. Please help me so I can get these things installed ans scare some people!! 
Mine are oiless too, but they said mounting the compressors upside down is not recommended. But you can mount them sideways. The tank won’t matter how it’s mounted in less you only have one port on the topside.
Something about overheating and mounting them upside down i think
I can mount it sideways under the truck. I will do that tomorrow

that tank and compressor should not be mounted sideways… the drain on the tank is on the bottom mounting it sideways would not allow you to drain water from your tank. if room is an issue you should separate the compressor from the tank and mount the tank with the drain pointing to the ground.
Water buildup in a tank can cause rust in the tank which can weaken the tank and cause possible tank explosion… and second water could get back into the compressor causing failure
Got the tank installed but dont like the tank on the back of an SUV so my friend is going to make some brackets to mount the tank right side up under my truck.
I call it the instant retard button. . . Cuz when I hit the button people look retarded for a couple of seconds from the scare!!! lol
