P5 to P3 downsize

Hey, I’m Andy

As of now, I don’t have much to work with in the way of horns. Ironically enough, I acquired a Nathan P5 air horn. Don’t get me wrong, it sounds great! It’s just I have the bells to make a P3, and I really like the way they sound. I can use the 1, 2 and 4 bells for the P3 combo, I just need a bracket to set them on.

Anyone have an idea as to where I could attain such a piece?

Many thanks!

you could always check ebay not sure if they will have it but you can give it a try.

oh forgot to say welcome to the forum

Ha thanks for the greeting. I do check ebay regularly, but never quite find what I’m looking for. If I had the tools (or skill for that matter), I’d rig up my own type of bracket.

I do have the brackets for a P series. I just never listed them on ebay since there really isn’t a demand for them. I have them powder coated, not coated, in a kit, or just the brackets. I have a gullwing manifold for sale as well if you need that.

That’d be great man! I have the bells, bolts, gaskets, just the 3 way bracket. How much are we talking here?

Do you need the individual brackets or the gullwing manifold? The gullwing mani is a 5 horn manifold but has the block offs for the 2 bells.

I’ve got 2 block off plates that I’d sell if you’re interested.

Curt,

Sorry for the long wait, been away for a while without a computer. I guess I would need the manifold. Now you have a 5 way one with 2 holes blocked of then, right? So my horn would sound like a P3, but look like one with an addition on both ends? Thanks!

Manifold wont have any bearing on sound, just the bells. This is what a gullwing looks like. It will have the block off ports, and gaskets.
