ok so i have the hornblasters pa system, which i love but i was wondering if i could upgrade to a higher wattage speaker? i would like to keep the same head unit and just swap out to a higher watt. is this possible with this set up? thanks for you time and help.
Doubtful since if you dont have the amperage to run the speaker … The HB 100 watt pa is just that. 100 watts of power going to the speaker.
Its kinda like taking a stock stereo system and putting 150w kicker speakers on it… Your hu is still putting out 15 watts, lol…
I have the HB 100 watt pa also and love it. Havent found a time yet that i need it to be louder.
Your best bet is to sell it and buy a whelen 200 watt setup.
