Plz help!

i have the shockers xl wit a 2 gallon tank i just ran them to 200 psi but now they are high pitched as h*ll could it be cause the 1/2 hose is going to a 3/8 port? or do all shockers have this problem at 200 psi. ive checked the hose for kinks and everything and cant figure it out!!!

plz help!!!

try blowin them at like 175

mine sound great at 200 psi

My friend’s did the same thing at 200 PSI. They’re so-called “rated” at 200 PSI but I don’t buy it. I’ve only heard 2 sets at 200 psi and they both screwed up rather quickly. Once dropped down to around 140-160, no problems.

What kind of valve u have on ur shockers might have to much pressure on it for it to open all the way…

i just upgraded to 1/2in everything also, and now my horns squeal. they sound just fine around 150 though, im thinking of just getting a 150 pressure switch, as i need 110 max for my air suspension soon

Hmmm… This is weird… If u guys are having this continuous problem please let us know so that we can see if we can resolve this for you… Sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused…

i was running mine with 1/2 valve and 1/2 airline for almost 7 month and i have not problems at all :frowning:

Is it 1 horn. or all of the horns?

at 200psi they all squeal, 150psi they all sound perfect

its more like a screech. not a squeel haha. I just have 1 horn doing it. Trying to figure out how to fix it. Rigo said air tool oil. just a couple drops after the solenoid. Im going to try that, if not someone said tightening the bolts on the back caps? idk lol I will get it fixed. Its pissing me off haha.

Twist is time to get a nathan airchime!!!

anyone ever tried re tuning theyre horns to 200 psi? good idea or horrible idea lol?

what do you mean retuning??? its all in your air pressure not in the tuning…

i mean like by turnin the screws on the back

bad idea…there tuned for pitch not loudness

I’ve never seen a “tunable” shocker horn… The screws just hold the cap on as far as I know… plus they’re glued on, I wouldn’t recommend messing with that.

It won’t help anyways… As Curtis said, the pressure has nothing to do with tuning.

mine sound like a screwed up PVC whistle and none of the horns sound low, but at 150 its perfectly fine

Ive had mine honk at 200, and it is loud as fuk. its amazing, and has great tone. that happens when its wet outside lol idk. but others all three sound great but 1 horn sounds like shit and ruins everything.

changing my valve fixed the problem horns sound amazing!
