how much psi does a kl5 take to sound good i am buying just the horns on ebay, bu i wanted to know how much air i need to push them.
150 psi is recommended
I just tested my K3LA at 80, 100, 120 and 150 PSI… seems like the bells all hit at the same time at a higher PSI, but at a lower one it takes a second or so longer to get them up together. That’s what I observed at least- let me know if anyone’s noticed that too.
Yeah, I like using my metering valve better than the horn pad. Although the horn pad is good to use in traffic…I love it when people cut me off; and watch them shat their pants when I give em all 175psi.
