Wiring is not my strong suit and I don’t want to release any magic smoke or worse. As I read the directions for my Safety Horn 232 I see three wires that need power: compressor, pressure switch and horn button. I want to use a 12V 3A momentary capacitive touch switch that will be located under the top-left radio bezel for a clean look & just touch the bezel and the horn will blow!
Can I run all three power wires from a single aux switch set to “ignition” on my 2016 Ram 2500? If so, the fuse in the PDC will be 40A for the compressor. Do I also need to add an inline 5A fuse for the capacitive touch switch? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
