So I just got my Shocker 540 kit and I made the stupid mistake of tightening my damn pressure switch with vise grips and stripping it.
I didn’t think much of it since in the manual it didn’t say DO NOT do it… which it should lol… yet it says HAND TIGHTEN LOOSELY on switch, my bad for reading the directions too carefully and not payin attention to the bold writing on switch :rolleyes:
So I ordered a new pressure switch today, thanks Garrett for honoring the warranty.
Also I had a slow leak in my system and just though “Oh hell, another problem…this is gonna turn into be a big money pit” but I realize since the pressure switch is stripped, the plastic is ripped around the threading leaving a hole. So i went to my truck and what do you know…I found the leak!
So I’m super relieved! A new pressure switch will fix everything…Oh and I already got a 2 minute Scare video after 2 days lol…It’s so Frickin fun!!!
I was sketch about a $600 horn, but wow…It’s the most fun I’ve had in a long while!
I find it’s better to do it in nicer areas. My pops lives in a rich area kinda…We’re not, but he has a small apartment.
But I find in those areas, people are more oblivious to things like this. When I’m rockin my subs or on the PA people freak out like I’m a hoodlum!
Now with this horns people trip!! They jump so bad it’s awesome! I get the most bewildered looks. It’s SOO priceless. Best is when “tough guys” aren’t looking and throw their arms up, then play it off like they weren’t scared…
It’s also super funny starin at chicks, like your checkin em out. making eye contact n what not…then blastin it and scaring em shitless.
