My kleinn 230s are mounted like that up under my truck the big bell and smallest bell pointing forward and the middle one backwards the kleinn horns do have a higher pitch to them ““my observation with having them for 2 years”” my shocker xls having a very low pitch like an actual train horn.
also my klienn horn at full pressure cant compete compared to my shockers, the shockers make the klienn sound like a car horn
I reckon I could make the HK7 louder than the shockers (assuming they’re not already, I’ll be proving why high end Db meters can’t be trusted in a video series, so for me the juries still out on that winner). Then again I’m also probably gonna succeed in making the shockers a few Db louder too, so the supposed volume gap will be opened up again I guess. The HK7 kleinns sound like super amped up car horns rather than train horns and the shockers just sound the the most obnoxiously American horns ever, but I love them both :).
i think you hk7s 230s would be alot louder if they had a 1/2 line ran directly to 3 solenoids “blast master kit” and upgrade to 1/2 line from tank… sounds like a winter project for me
HK7 and 230s, they’re both different models aren’t they? Yes I’ll be making my own ‘blast master’ kit and source components from my own country to do it.
The hk7 is a kit they sell. Comes with the 230 horns 3 gallon air tank and 1.36cfm air compressor and wiring kit.
The hk kits range from hk9 which has the 730 horns hk8 has 230s also down to hk1 all bigger the number bigger the kit
