Hi, i used some bumper paint stripper( from napa) to get the old paint off my train horn. i used it 3 times but it’s not bare aluminium yet. it’s kinda dark aluminium. it is getting better with a brillo pads.
Somebody told me to use a grinder with a special tool (a kind of steel wool) on it to get it bare alum. my question is: if i’m using a grinder, is it gonna change the sonority of my train horn??
