Scared me Story

Tonight was more of a scared me story. I just finished my horns on saturday night and havent honked at a whole bunch of people. My wife needed to get some books at barnes and noble so we drove to Tulsa. We where leaving outback steakhouse whick was in the busy part of town when i gave the horns a good long honk and everyone one bobs there head like bullets went by. The book store was only the next block and i had to park the truck in the back. I get out and start toward the door as a city cop wheels in like a bat out of hell and gets in the spot in front of my truck and jumps out. I looked at him and was like if he wants to give me a ticket he will have to come in and get me. The cop comes in the store right behind me and walks around for a few minutes and then just walks back to his car and gets in and drives off. I think i got lucky

Anybody ever get a ticket in the mail for honking. lol

U got lucky. I had some O.C. maryland cops come in a parking lot after me. I got a stern talking too.

crazy!

i don’t know about getting tickets in the mail… i doubt it. but, since its a month later now, anything come in the mail? or phonecalls/visits from the cops?

No nothing ever happened to me. I have seen people get tickets in the mail from turnpike cameras but not from things that happened in the city. Maybe it was a coinkadink that he zoomed in after I honked but I don’t think so. What does an on duty cop need at barns and noble.

Doesn’t Barnes and Noble sell coffee and pastries in their little coffee section? lol Maybe he was looking for coffee and doughnuts.

LMAO, my thoughts exactly.

Im not so sure, that this qualifies as part of the topic, but I was always scared of the “Phantom of the opera” when I was little.

Im not anymore, I actually enjoy those stories now.

Yeah the coppie was looking for you. I dont know how you had time to keep your eyes on him the whole time while he was in the store without lookin conspicuous. Good escape though. lol. Now I know where to hide. Barnes and Noble or Retirement Home parking lot.

What childhood story/folk tale scared you as a kid?

Little Red Riding Hood and The Three Bears scared me.

My tantalized spirit here blandly reposes, forgetting, or never regretting its roses.
